Plant Dyed Watch Cap in Blush

Knitted in Germany from the finest pure wool using traditional patterns and knitting techniques, this hat is a based on the original US Navy watch cap design. Made from 100% pure wool & hand dyed with plant extracts this hat has a soft feel & textured look.

Each hat is prepared for dyeing in our studio & then dyed by hand using pure plant extracts and natural dyes. These caps have been dyed using colour extracted from Rubia Tinctorum, commonly know as madder or dyer's madder, a herbaceous perennial plant species which yields beautiful shades from red, to orange and every shade of pink/coral/salon in between.

The hat has a woven crown, a thick body, reinforced back seam & our discreet cotton label on the back. This classic wool hat will look great & keep you warm through the crisp mornings or chilly months ahead.
